You must be loaded. I thought rich people were the only ones who waited the last minute. We got our w-2's one day, Commissioner's office filled them out the next. Had refund in about 3 weeks. I can't speak for anyone else, but the reason that I waited until Monday was because I OWED $1700 federal and only get back $65 state.

MMMM, if you will search "irs " the gov site that comes up will give ya a work sheet, put in the figures for the year-to-date, and they will tell ya how to adjust. Make it come out zero, or you can fix it to get some back, just about how ever you want it. Takes into consideration- dependants, # of jobs- just about anything- if you are interested, saves that year-end-shock [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]and payment. Nevermind the search, I forgot I saved the link( I check mine , once in a while) IRS calculator

I did mine about two months ago- i wanted my refund and I wanted it ASAP!

Unfortunately from getting married and working for a full year (the previous year i had been in grad school so had a part time job) my refund dropped tremendously. I was very upset with my husband lol when i watched the number on turbo tax drop several hundred dollars once i put his info in.
